Robson, Richard
February 21, 1947 – January 19, 2021
It is with heavy hearts but wonderful memories that we announce the passing of Richard Robson at the age of 73. Beloved husband of 50 years to Pat Robson (nee Magee). Loving father of Lisa (Anthony Garrett) and Joanne (Scott McGillivray). Proud Grandpa of Jacob, Ethan, and Trinity, and Papa of Connor, Kierra and Hailee. He was a kind and generous man and will be missed by all his in-laws, nieces, nephews, extended family and many, many friends.
Richard was the owner and president of National Remanufacturing Centre and Ottawa Driveshaft and Steering and got involved in the auto industry as soon as he left school. Antique cars became one of his passions and he spent many happy hours with the cars and the car guys.
The family would like to express their gratitude for all the support given by all our friends, Richard’s church members, and the wonderful staff at The Ottawa Hospital, the LHIN and the Hospice at May Court.
Cremation has taken place and a private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
