Conference organizers for Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW)—the largest North American gathering of heavy duty aftermarket professionals in the industry—today announced “Strong Like You” as the theme for HDAW 2022, which signifies the industry’s resilience throughout the pandemic. To lead the effort, David McCleave, Director of
Marketing and Aftermarket at Hendrickson, and Bill Nolan, President at PBS Truck Parts, have been
named as the conference co-chairs an Bill Betts of Betts Truck Parts and Service has been named as distributor vice-chair.

Collectively they will represent the needs of suppliers and distributors alike.
HDAW ’22 will take place in-person January 24-27 at the Gaylord Texan Resort in Grapevine, Texas.
As the Right to Repair debate continues nationwide, the Auto Care Association has been fighting for the right to repair vehicles of all classes, including heavy duty trucks. In an effort to support the association’s position, the Auto Care Association is calling for trucking industry stakeholders to ask members of Congress to enact Right to Repair legislation that includes the commercial vehicle repair industry. “Right to Repair is the most pressing issue facing our industry and it is time that we take a stand,” Auto Care officials said in an email to Heavy Duty Trucking.
